About GA Essentials

GA Essentials is a subset of the entire i2o application, designed to streamline sales performance on Amazon and other e-commerce platforms. It offers key features from the i2o platform for smaller 1P and 3P brands. This package allows quick access of vital sales and growth insights to drive effective business decisions.

GA Essentials is built around two core modules: Portfolio Summary and Growth Accelerator, each providing powerful tools and data to optimize brand performance. These modules are packed with features such as:

  • Weekly Business Review
  • Monthly Goal Tracking
  • Budget vs Actuals Chart
  • ASIN-Level Product Details View
  • Smart Reports

Let’s explore each of these features and how they work within GA Essentials.

How to view Weekly Business Review
1. Open your web browser and go to the i2o website. 
2. Enter your user ID and password, then click Log In. 
3. The Portfolio Summary appears as the initial screen after login.

Upon logging into your i2o account, the Portfolio Summary provides an immediate overview of your account's portfolio performance. This assessment is based on key metrics.



Total card
The total card on the top of the display is a simple sum total of the metrics from each individual brand cards,
The view shows the latest week's data, identified by a tick mark within a green flag. If there are delays in data refresh, the prior week is indicated by an exclamation mark in a red box.
The total card displays three comparative metrics, YoY, WoW, and YTD to track performance.



Brand card
The performance summary is presented through KPI Cards which can be called brand cards. Users can rearrange brand cards by swapping or dragging them to the preferred positions.
The 1P and 3P brand cards are displayed separately. If you have a brand for both 1P and 3P, the KPI card will appear twice on the portfolio summary: once with 1P details and once with 3P details.

On the brand cards you will see performance changes, performance details, and reports.

  1. Performance Changes: Positive or negative changes, whether week-over-week (WoW) or year-over-year (YoY), are represented by up or down arrows, respectively.
  2. Performance Details: Click on the detail icon next to each metric, this shows further performance details. The details pop-up also takes you to the appropriate section of the concerned module, providing a more detailed drill-down summary.
  3. Reports: Weekly business review is the two report available in the brand cards.

1. Click on View WBR on the brand card.
2. A report pop-up appears, showing the current week's data across 5 slides.
3. Weekly Business Review (WBR) provides all the business key performance indicators (KPIs) in one place, the report includes:

  1. Sales Summary: This slide shows month-over-month (MoM) and year-over-year (YoY) changes for shipped units, ordered units, shipped COGS, and ordered product sales (OPS), along with comments and highlights on weekly revenue and units.
  2. Weekly Highlights: Key insights for the week, such as average order price, procurable product out-of-stock (OOS) percentage, glance views, refund percentage, net PPM, and conversion rates.
  3. Marketing Summary: This section provides details like the T4 monthly spend, ROAS, ACOS, true ACOS, and granular campaign-level metrics such as type, impressions, clicks, CTR, orders, spend, CPC, CPM, AMS revenue, ACOS, and ROAS, along with any additional comments.
  4. PO Summary: For each brand PO summary provides details of ordered, shipped, and cancelled purchase orders over the past 4 weeks, along with their totals.

4. Click Download to save the report.

NotesThis report is available for 3P sellers only.

How to view budget vs actuals?

1. On the brand card, click the Expand button over Shipped COGS or Product Sales, then click Sales Insights.
2. This redirects you to the Sales Insights tab.



The Sales Insights tab integrates data for your brand's overall sales performance. This includes breakouts for 1P only, 3P only, or 1P and 3P of reported revenue for the latest week, last year's revenue and prior period revenue. Additionally, you can view trend graph for category, brand, products and segment, Sales also can be viewed in a similar manner along with monitoring metrics such as Shipped COGS, Shipped units, Ordered revenue and many more. 

You can track the current week bottom performers and current week top performers with ASIN-level metrics readily accessible.


3. You can also access the Sales Insights by navigating to Growth Accelerator > Sales Insights > Sales Insights.

4. Select the required platform from the global switcher, which is set to Amazon by default.



5. Once you are on the Sales Insights page, click on the Filter icon to filter the data for your required parameters or use preset filters.
6. Click on the Date dropdown to select the desired time range.
7. Click on the Yearly Goal Achieved percentage in the Yearly Goal widget to view the Budget Achievement chart.
8. The Budget Achievement chart displays the comparison between the budget set and the actual achievement.
9. The Monthly Goal widget helps you set and track monthly goals. You can set your own goal, or if no goal is provided, the system automatically sets one equivalent to 10% of the previous month's revenue.
10. The widget shows the percentage of the monthly target achieved so far for the selected week, represented both in percentage and dollar amounts.



11. A small horizontal bar graph visually represents the target, with the darker section showing the achieved portion and the lighter section indicating the remaining target.
12. Click on the percentage of the yealy target achieved to open the Budget Achievement pop-up. In this window, you’ll see a graphical representation of the yearly goal. 



How to view Download AI Insights?

Navigating to Growth Accelerator > Sales Insights > Download AI Insights.
These downloads have smart reports giving you valuable analysis to draw conclusions and make informed business decisions.
  1. Click on Download AI Insights.
  2. Select the desired report by clicking on radio button.
  3. Click download so save the report to your local drive.
Let's learn about each of downloaded reports:

How to view Sales Summary Report

1. On the Sales Insights screen, click on Download AI Insights.
2. Select the radio button for Sales Summary Report.



3. The Sales Summary Report pop up appears.

           On the first page:

  1. View key sales details such as week-over-week changes, same week last year (LY), and year-to-date (YTD) changes, shown in both percentage and dollar values.


  2. See important metrics like units sold, glance views, and conversion rates.

  3. Review sales and unit details for your top 5 brands and top 5 categories.

  4. For each brand or category, analyze detailed data on sales and units, including last week's values, same week (LY), T4 average, and YTD, along with percentage changes.

  5. Below, find the Business Summary, which highlights key insights on brand performance.

    On the second page:
  6. View brand's performance for the current week compared to the previous week, using KPIs such as sales %, ad spend %, glance views etc.


  7. View category and brand highlights, that cover revenue and week-over-week (WoW) % changes.

  8. The report also provides insights into the reasons behind any increase or decrease in sales and conversion rates.

    On the third page:

  9. You can see how the brand performed in terms of traffic and conversion variance.

  10. It highlights how traffic and conversion variance affected brands performance. 


4. Click Download to save the report to your local drive.

How to see sales and inventory forecast?

1. On the Sales Insights screen, click on Download AI Insights.
2. Select the radio button for Consumer Demand Forecast to view the sales forecast.
3. The Consumer Demand Forecast pop up appears.

  1. This report contains the tabs- Category Units Forecast, Category Sales Forecast, Product Unit Forecast and Product Sales Forecast.
  2. It provides the sales, unit, and ASIN forecasts for 52 weeks across your brands and their categories.

4. Click Download to save the file to your local drive for further analysis.
5. Click Close to go back.



6. Select the radio button for Inventory Shipment Report to view the inventory forecast.

Notes
This report is refreshed weekly.

7. The inventory Shipment Report appears.
8. It details Amazon inventory with the number of available units, warehouse units, fulfillable estimates, unsellable and reserved units, inbound units, and a 30-day forecast.
9. Click Download to save the file to your local drive for later review.
10. Click Close to go back.

How to view PPC audit report?

1. On the Sales Insights screen, click on Smart Reports.
2. Select the radio button for PPC Report to open the PPC audit report.



3. This report displays weekly advertising performance, highlighting ad spend that exceeds the target ACOS for campaigns, keywords, ASINs and more.
4. View the detailed ad performance summary on the first tab, broken down by month and week.
5. Use the filter option to focus on specific KPIs of interest.
6. In the graph, see total monthly spend and campaign spend exceeding the target ACOS across different months.
7. Click Download to save the report to your local drive for further review.
8. Click Close to go back.

How to view i2o Gen AI Summary?

  1. Navigate to the Growth accelerator>Sales insights.
  2. Select the platform from global switcher at the top of the page.
  3. Click on the i2o Gen AI Summary button.
  4. Select the week for which you want to view insights. i2o Summarize provides data for the past six weeks.
  5. The sales summary loads for the selected week.
  6. If the WOW variance is negative, the insights show the top brands and categories causing the decline. For positive variances, it highlights the brands and categories driving the growth.
  7. If wow variance is negative, we show insights about top brands and categories that lead to the negative variance. Vice versa for positive variance.



  8. Click thumbs up to like the insights or thumbs down to dislike.
  9. Click download to save the report locally, the file gets downloaded in .pdf format.
  10. Click close to go back to the Sales Insights.

More on Sales Insights

Trend Graph

Trend Graph gives you unified views of historical data and future forecasts spanning six months. You can view Actuals and Forecasts for:
Ordered Units
Ordered Revenue ($)
Shipped COGS ($)
Purchase Orders (Units)
PO ($) in the system.


1. Click on the Brand, Category or Segment to view respective graphs.

2. Click on the Add Data Series, select the desired metrices and click Update chart to get the configured graph.

Brand & Category View

You can analyse all data trends such as Actuals, Forecasts, Ad Spend, and Traffic at the Brand/Category/Segment level and use this to compare the performance of individual brands or categories against each other and identify areas of improvement.
These views are available for both the Trend Graph and Tabular data.

Segments

The entire data is categorized into AB, and segments. The products contributing 80% of Revenue fall under segment A, the products contributing 15% of Revenue fall under segment B, and the products contributing 5% of Revenue fall under segment C.
Products from any segment (A, B, or C) can be converted into the Segment (Target) and closely monitored for performance. 
Go to the tabular view of sales at the bottom and click on Segment. You can see 4 separate rows for each of the segment.

ASIN Pop Up

Across various sales modules, you can click on an ASIN to see product-level metrics for an individualized look at performance. Sales and marketplace metrics are laid side by side so you can look at the latest week or trends over time. 

How To View ASIN Pop-Up In Sales Analysis Insights

1. Navigate toGrowth Accelerator > Sales Insights > Sales Insights.
2. Scroll down to the table with tabs labelled Current Week Bottom Performers, Current Week Top Performers and Category 360.
3. Click on either of the two tabs (Current Week Bottom Performers or Current Week Top Performers).
4. In the View Details column, click on the icon with four squares to open the ASIN Pop-Up.



5. The Product Overview will display.

  1. On the left side, view the basic product details such as BSR, BB price, brand, category, and whether the product is in the top 50.
  2. In the centre details the overview of product performance, including a graph of shipped COGS over a weekly timeline.
  3. See performance metrics for week, month, and quarter, along with percentage changes like week-over-week (WoW) and changes over the last four weeks (T4).
  4. View the comments on the Buy Box, inventory, and sales that are also displayed in this detailed product view.

      

6. Click the Share icon to share the details.
7. Click Close to return to the previous screen.
