# 

1P: First Party, describes Amazon’s direct relationship with manufacturer brands and distributors that receive purchase orders from the retailer. Specific to Amazon's Vendor Central platform.

3P: Third-Party, describes sellers trading goods on Amazon’s marketplace without selling these items to Amazon first. Specific to Amazon's Seller Central platform

A 

Accepted quantity: Refers to the number of items or units that a seller or supplier has agreed to provide to a customer, typically in response to an Amazon purchase order or request; specific to Vendor Central 

ACOS:Advertising Cost of Sale. Describes the ratio of your advertising budget to your advertising revenue.  The inverse of Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)

ACOS = Total ad spend ÷ Total ad revenue. 
Active coupon: It is a discount code or promotion that is currently available and can be used by customers to receive a discount on a product or service.  

Ad spend: Refers to the amount of money that a business or advertiser invests in advertising campaigns or initiatives to promote their products or services. 

Amazon advertising cost of sales (ACOS): Is a metric used in Amazon advertising to measure the performance of sponsored products or sponsored brands campaigns. It compares the amount spent on pay-per-click campaigns to the amount of sales earned from those campaigns

Amazon ACOS = Total Amazon ad spend ÷ ad-attributed Amazon sales  
Amazon Buy Box Price Trend: Can be useful for sellers who want to stay competitive and optimize their pricing and other factors to increase their chances of winning the Buy Box.  
Amazon Choice Badge: Is designed to help customers quickly find products that are popular and well-received by other customers. 

AMS: Amazon Marketing Services, now known as Amazon Advertising

ASIN: Amazon Standard Identification Number. A unique 10-character alphanumeric identifier for a product on Amazon (for example, B07ZB5C3ZM). It is linked to a unique SKU/EAN/ISBN code and is used as a reference to manage catalogue attributes, prices and inventory of a product. 

ASIN suppression: If a product is suppressed, it will not be visible to customers on Amazon and will not be eligible for the Buy Box. 

ASP: ASP represents the Average selling price per ordered unit. 

ASP = Ordered sales ÷ Ordered units 

ASP variance (LW): Refers to the difference between the actual selling price (ASP) of a product and the expected or budgeted selling price. 

ASP Variance = (ASP TW - ASP LW) × AVERAGE(TW units - LW units) 

Attributed conversion: It is a method of determining which marketing efforts contributed to a customer's decision to make a purchase or take a desired action. 

Attributed conversion same SKU: Attributed conversion for the same SKU refers to the process of determining which specific marketing efforts or touchpoints led a customer to purchase the same product again. 

Attributed orders new to brand: Refer to the process of identifying and assigning credit to various marketing channels or touchpoints for driving orders from new customers who have not previously purchased from the brand. 

Attributed order rate new to brand: Refers to the percentage of orders that are attributed to new customers who have not previously purchased from the brand, out of the total number of orders placed. 

Attributed sales: Refers to the process of assigning credit or attribution to various marketing channels or touchpoints for driving sales or revenue. 

Attributed sales same SKU: Refer to the process of assigning credit or attribution to various marketing channels or touchpoints for driving sales or revenue for a particular product or SKU that a customer has purchased more than once. 

Attributed sales new to brand: Refers to the process of identifying and assigning credit to various marketing channels or touchpoints for driving sales from new customers who have not previously purchased from the brand.  

Attributed units ordered: Refers to the process of identifying and assigning credit to various marketing channels or touchpoints for the number of units of a product that have been ordered by customers. 

Attributed units ordered same SKU: Refers to the process of identifying and assigning credit to various marketing channels or touchpoints for the number of units of a particular product or SKU that have been ordered by customers more than once. 

Attributed units new to brand: Refers to the process of identifying and assigning credit to various marketing channels or touchpoints for driving sales of units from new customers who have not previously purchased from the brand. 

Authorized seller offers below MAP: Authorized sellers who are selling the products below MAP. 

B 

Backordered: Is a term used to describe a situation where a product or item that a customer has ordered is not currently available in stock.  

Best Seller Badge: Is designed to help customers quickly identify products that are in high demand and have a good track record of sales. 

Best Seller Rank (BSR) in Sub Category: It is a comparative metric that is defined by your sales rank within an Amazon subcategory. For example. a best seller ranking of 1 means that this is the top selling product in the subcategory. 

Budget: Refers to the amount of money allocated by a business or organization for advertising, promotions, and other marketing activities. 

Buy Box: A widget seen on most product pages that allows users to purchase products they are searching for quickly with a single seller assigned as the fulfillment party even though multiple seller offers can be present.

Buy Box Price: Is the value of the product in the buy box. 

C 

Campaign ID: It is a unique identifier assigned to a marketing campaign or advertising initiative for tracking and analysis purposes. 

Campaign Name: It is the title of the marketing campaign. 

Campaign Status: It is the current state or condition of a marketing campaign. 

Campaign Type: It is the specific category or classification of a marketing campaign. 

Category - Product division based on shared characteristics and uses.

Change in Shipped Cogs: It is the difference between the TW shipped cogs and LW shipped cogs. 

Change in Shipped cogs = TW - LW

Change in Shipped Units: It is the difference between the TW shipped units and LW shipped units. 

Change in Shipped units = TW - LW

Charge invoice: Might include additional fees for expedited shipping, handling, or taxes.  

Clickthrough Rate (CTR): the number of clicks that your ad receives divided by the number of times your ad is shown.

CTR = Clicks ÷ impressions  
Clips: Refers to a type of digital coupon or discount offered by some retailers. 

Content Change Type: These alerts inform sellers when there is a modification made to their product titles, descriptions, images, bullet points, or other product details.  

Content score: Refers to a metric used to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of written content.  

Conversion: Represents the purchase rate of customers viewing your product (also referred to as conversion rate)

Conversion (1P) = (Units ordered/Glance views) × 100
Conversion (3P) = (Units ordered/Page views) × 100 
Conversion Change % (Prior Period): Represents how many shoppers purchased your product after landing on a Product Detail Page. 
Conversion Change Change % (Prior Period) = ((TW Conversion Change - LW Conversion Change) ÷ (LW Conversion Change)) × 100

Conversion Change % (YoY): Represents the variance between prior period conversion rate and last year's same reporting prior period. 

Conversion Change % (YoY) = ((TW Conversion Change -LW Conversion Change) ÷ (LW Conversion Change)) × 100

Conversion share: Refers to the percentage of users who take a desired action, such as making a purchase or filling out a form, out of the total number of users who interact with a website or digital marketing campaign

Conversion variance: Refers to the difference between the actual conversion rate of a website or digital marketing campaign and the expected or budgeted conversion rate

Conversion Variance = (Conversion TW - Conversion LW) × AVERAGE (ASP TW:ASP LW) × AVERAGE(Traffic TW:Traffic LW)  
Coupons: Coupons are a popular type of promotion that offer customers a discount or special offer on a product or service.  

Coupon campaign name: Refers to a specific name or title given to a marketing campaign that is focused on offering discounts or coupons to customers. 

Coupon status: Refers to the current state or condition of a coupon or promotional offer.  

Coupon title: It is a short, descriptive phrase used to identify a specific discount or promotion.  

Cost per Click (CPC): Measures the dollar amount Amazon Advertising charges vendors and sellers when customers click on their ads. 

Cost per Mille (CPM): Measures the dollar amount charged per 1000 impressions. CPM is based on the number of times an ad is viewed, regardless of whether customers click on it or not.

Click through rate (CTR): The click-through rate (CTR) of an ad, landing page, or article is the rate of the number of clicks to another page that it receives. CPC is based on the number of actual clicks the ad receives.

CTR = number of clicks ÷ number of impressions
Current Amazon retail website price: Refers to the current cost of a product or service listed on Amazon's website.  

Current Buy Box winner: Refers to the seller who has won the buy box at the time of scrape.  

Customer rating: indicates how well your products and services meet expectations. 

Current week Bottom performers: Refers to the products or companies that are currently performing poorly in a specific market or industry. 

Current week top performers: Refers to the products or companies that are currently leading or excelling in a specific market or industry.

Date of Review: Refers to the date on which someone examined, analysed, and provided feedback. 

Delivery information: Refers to the details related to the shipment of a product from the seller to the customer. 

Discount per coupon absolute: Refers to the specific dollar amount by which the price of a product or service is reduced when a coupon or discount code is applied.  

Discount per coupon percentage: Refers to the percentage amount by which the price of a product or service is reduced when a coupon or discount code is applied.

Financial charge: Refers to a fee or interest that is charged on a financial account or transaction.  

Fulfilment center (FC): Enables companies to efficiently pick, pack, and ship orders to customers.  

Fulfilment type: Typically refers to the method by which an order is fulfilled or completed. 

Funding agreement ID: It is used to track the agreement and all related transactions, such as deposits and withdrawals.

Glance Views (GV): Represents the customer views of a product detail page. Specific to Vendor Central.

GV Change % (Prior Period): Represents the percentage change in glance views in the prior period. Specific to Vendor Central. 

GV Change % (Prior Period) = ((TW Glance views - LW Glance views) ÷ LW Glance views) × 100 
GV Change % (YoY): Represents the variance in glance views when compared prior period with same reporting time period. Specific to Vendor Central.
GV Change % (YoY) = ((TY Glance views - LY Glance views) ÷ LY Glance views) × 100

Images count: Refers to the total images available for the particular product. 

Impression: Refers to the number of times a particular piece of content or advertisement is displayed on a webpage, social media platform, or any other digital media platform. 

Inventory limit: Refers to the maximum quantity available of a particular product. 

Issue ID: Refers to a unique identifier assigned to a specific issue or problem in a tracking or ticketing system. 

Issue type: Refers to the categorization of a problem.

Keywords Count: Represents the total available keywords.

Last Week Revenue: Represents the revenue generated by units sold in the last week 

List Price Realization: Is a measure of how successful a company is in selling its products at the listed price or at a price close to the listed price. 

List price realization = (Average Selling Price ÷ List Price) 

Likely promotional price: Refers to the expected or estimated price of a product or service during a promotional period. Specific to Vendor Central 

Lost Buy Box: Refers to a situation where a seller had previously won the Buy Box for a product but has now lost it to another seller. 

Lowest Channel Platform: Refers to the lowest price at which a particular product is being offered for sale across all sales channels. 

LW – Last Week 

LY Shipped COGS: Represents the value of products shipped to the buyers last year during the same reporting time period. 

M 

MAP – Minimum Advertised Price. Used by brands to ensure a product is not sold under a minimum set price (only applicable in the US). 

Map Breaks: If a reseller is selling a “New” product below the MAP price then it is called a MAP break. 

Model Number: Model or style number of the product.  

MAP Violation count: Map violations count refers to the number of instances where a driver or delivery person deviates from the planned route or makes unauthorized stops during a delivery. 


N 

Net PPM: Product profitability after cost of goods and discounts are taken into account; this metric is exclusive to Vendor Central 

Net sales PCOGS AGG: Refers to the total net revenue generated by a business or an individual from the sale of products or services, after deducting the cost of goods sold (COGS) as a percentage of sales.  

Net unit Amount AGG: Refers to the total revenue generated from all ad campaigns across multiple platforms or channels, after deducting the associated advertising costs. 

New Reviews: Represents the number of reviews added by the customers in the prior week. 

  1. % 4-5 Stars New: Represents the percentage of reviews between 4-5 stars, to total reviews added by the customers in the prior week. 
  2. % 1-2 Stars New: Represents the percentage of reviews between 1-2 stars, to total reviews added by the customers in the prior week. 

Normal Earliest Delivery time:  Delivered typically within 2-7 business days. 

Normal Latest Delivery time: Delivered typically within 7-14 business days. 

Number of Distinct resellers: Refers to the number of unique individuals or companies that sell a particular product. 

O 

Observed Buy Box (OBB) %: Refers to an i2o-calculated metric that represents the percentage of time that a seller's product appears in the Buy Box on Amazon across a given period. 

Open PO quantity: Refers to the quantity of a product or material that has been ordered by a buyer, but not yet received from the supplier 

Ordered Product Sales (OPS): Ordered Product Sales 

Ordered Revenue (OREV): Refers to the number of units ordered multiplied by the average retail price of each unit for a given period

OREV = Ordered Units × average retail price of each unit

Ordered Revenue % for PP: Represents current week and last week revenue percentage data. 

OREV % PP = ((OREV TW - OREV LW) ÷ OREV LW) × 100 
Ordered Revenue % for YoY: Represents the revenue between prior period and last year's same reporting prior period. 
LY = ((TY-LY) ÷ LY) × 100 
Organic traffic: Refers to the visitors who come to a website through unpaid, natural search results as opposed to paid advertising. 
Organic Traffic = Glance Views (1P) or Page Views (3P) - Clicks
Ordered units: Refers to the number of individual products that customers have ordered on a particular platform or from a particular seller. 

Out of Stock (OOS): Refers to product availability status.  

P 

Page Views: Refers to the number of times an Amazon product details page was viewed for a 3P listing. Specific to Seller Central.

Paid traffic: Refers to visitors who come to a website as a result of paid advertising campaigns. This can include pay-per-click (PPC) ads, social media ads, display ads, or other types of online advertising.  

Parent Product ID: Products with variations (size, colour, etc.) have a Parent ASIN and Child ASINs. The Parent ASIN represents the generic overall product (non-purchasable).  

PO: Purchase Order 

Previous Buy Box winner: Refers to the seller who previously won the buy box.  

Price difference: Price difference is the difference between tthe reseller price and map price. 

Price Difference = Reseller Price - MAP  
Procurable Product OOS: Refers to a situation where a product that is normally available for purchase is currently out of stock; replaced Rep OOS and specific to Vendor Central 

Product title: Name of the product 

Promotions/Deals: Promotions refer to a variety of marketing activities that are designed to encourage customers to purchase a product or service. 

Promotions cost of sale: Refers to the cost associated with running promotional activities to drive sales. 

Promotions count: Refers to the total number of promotional activities that a business or individual has initiated within a given timeframe. 

Promotion ID: Also known as a Promo Code or Coupon Code, is a unique set of characters or numbers that can be entered during a transaction to receive a discount, special offer, or other promotion. 

Promotion name: Refers to the specific name or title given to a marketing promotion. 

Promotion status: Refers to the current state or phase of a marketing promotion. 

Promotion type: Refers to the category or type of promotion that a business or organization is offering to its customers. 

Purchase Order (PO): Is a commercial document issued by a buyer to a supplier, indicating the type, quantity, and agreed upon price for products or services that the buyer wishes to purchase. 

Q 

Quantity outstanding: Refers to the number of items or units that are still pending or yet to be received by a customer, typically after placing an order or making a purchase. 

Quantity received: Refers to the number of items or units that a customer has actually received from a seller or supplier, typically after placing an order or making a purchase.  

Quantity requested: Refers to the number of items or units that a customer has requested to purchase or order. 

R 

Redemptions: In the context of e-commerce and marketing, refers to the number of times a coupon, discount, or promotional offer has been redeemed by customers to make a purchase.  

Replacements: Represents the quantity of products replaced by the buyer.  

Replenishable Out Of Stock (OOS): Glance views the product received when it was out of stock but replenishable as a % of total product glance views. 

Resellers Buy Box winners: Reseller buy box winners represents winning the buy box can lead to increased sales and visibility for a particular seller.  

Reseller inventory enabled: Refers to a feature on an e-commerce platform or online marketplace that allows resellers to list and manage their own inventory of products for sale. 

Reseller inventory: Refers to products that are purchased by a reseller or a third-party seller for the purpose of reselling them to customers.  

Reseller price range: Typically refers to the range of prices at which a reseller offers a particular product for sale. 

Reseller rating: Refers to a rating or review system used to assess the reputation and performance of a reseller. 

Reseller review count: Refers to the total number of customer reviews or feedback that a reseller has received. 

Reseller sales: Refers to the total revenue generated by a reseller from selling products. 

Reseller units sold: Refers to the total number of products that a reseller has sold. 

Reseller workflow status: Refers to the current stage of the reselling process of a particular reseller 

Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) – Is a metric used in advertising to measure the effectiveness of a particular advertising campaign in generating revenue.  The amount of revenue from an ad campaign, divided by the amount spent on the campaign itself. 

ROAS = Attributed sales ÷ spend  
Returns: Represents the quantity of products returned by the buyer.   

Reviewer name: Is the name of a person who has written a review or rating of a product, service, or experience.  

Review Score: Represents the average rating by the customers.

  1. % 4-5 Stars: Represents the percentage of reviews between 4-5 stars, to total reviews.  
  2. % 1-2 Stars: Represents the percentage of reviews between 1-2 stars, to total reviews. 

Review title: Is a brief, concise statement that summarizes the main point or overall sentiment of a written review or rating. 

S 

Search Rank: Represents rank of the product when searched on Amazon or any other platform.  

Search rank frequency: Refers to the frequency with which a particular website or web page appears in the search engine results pages (SERPs) for a given keyword or set of keywords.  

Search terms: Refers to the words or phrases that a customer types into the search box when looking for a particular product.   

Seasonality Index: Is a metric used to measure the seasonal variation in demand for a product or service. 

Sellable On Hand: Represents the amount of inventory in Amazon fulfillment center that is in sellable condition on the last day of the selected time frame. 

Sellable On Hands Units: The number of units in Amazon shipping centres that can be sold on the last day of the selected time period.  

Seller rank: Is assigned to sellers based on their sales volume, customer feedback, and other performance metrics. 

Average sales of particular time period ÷ Average sales 
SessionsA customer’s visit to Amazon pages is referred to as a session. Even if a client shopper visits a number of pages many times (within 24 hours) during a visit, it will be counted as one session. Specific to Seller Central.
Shipped COGS: Shipped COGS equals Amazon PCOGs. Expressed as a dollar value and calculated as:
Shipped COGS = Cost price at the time of purchasing × Volume Shipped (to end customers) 

Shipped COGS (LY): Represents the value of products shipped to the buyers last year during the same reporting time period 

Shipped COGS (PP): Represents the value of products shipped to the buyers last week. 

Shipped Revenue (SREV) Refers to the number of units shipped multiplied by the average retail price of each unit for a given period

Shipping cost: Refers to the amount of money that a business charges a customer to ship a product. 

Ship to location: Refers to the address or destination where a package or shipment is intended to be delivered. 

Shipped units: Represents the number of units shipped to Amazon customers.  

SKU (Stock Keeping Unit): It is a unique identifier code used to track and manage inventory for a specific product or item. 

T 

Temporary price reductions (TPR): Temporary price reductions are typically time-limited promotions that may last for a few days, weeks, or months, depending on the marketing strategy and the product category. 

Traffic variance: Refers to the difference between the actual number of website visitors or traffic and the expected or budgeted number of visitors. 

Traffic Variance = (Traffic TW - Traffic LW) × AVERAGE(ASP TW:ASP LW) × AVERAGE(Conversion TW:Conversion LW) 
Total discount: Refers to the amount of money that a customer saves on a purchase due to discounts, promotions, or coupons. 

Total reviews: Is the number of customer reviews that a product has received on Amazon's marketplace. 

U 

Unauthorized Sellers Winning Buy Box: Unauthorized sellers who are winning the buy box for that period. 

Uncategorized variance:  Can refer to the variability in sales or customer behaviour that cannot be explained by the factors that we have measured or considered in our analysis. 

V 

Variation: Refers to the child product ID under a Parent product ID 

Variation reviewed: Typically refers to a specific version or variant of a product that is being reviewed or rated. 

Vendor code: It is a unique identifier assigned to a supplier or vendor by a business or organization to track their purchasing activities.  

Verified Purchase: Typically refers to a label or badge that appears on a review or rating of a product on an online marketplace or e-commerce platform.  

Vine review: Is invitation-only and selects reviewers based on their previous history of writing helpful and insightful reviews. 

W 

Weeks of supply (WOS): is an inventory management metric that estimates the number of weeks your items will stay in stock based on your current inventory levels and historical demand.  

Weeks of Supply = (Sellable Units on hand – Unfilled Customer Ordered units) ÷ Amazon Mean Forecast 
Window type: Refers to the way in which a product or service is presented. 

Window start: The date on which a sale or promotional event begins. 

Window end: The date on which a sale or promotional event ends. 

WoW – Week over Week 

Won Buy Box: Won buy box is the seller whose product is featured on the product detail page, and who typically receives the majority of sales for that product.
