Hourly Sales Insights

Overview

Hourly Sales Insights gives you near visibility into how your products are performing throughout the hours of the day. By comparing today’s hourly performance with yesterday and the same day last week, you can:

  • Spot sudden drops or spikes in revenue, glance views, or units.
  • Evaluate the immediate impact of price changes, promotions, or campaigns.
  • Make faster, data-driven decisions before the day ends.

Metrics and trends are auto-refreshed based on hourly ingestion schedules.

How to View Hourly Sales Insights

  1. Go to Growth Accelerator > Sales Insights.
  2. Click on the “Hourly Sales Insights” tab.
  3. Use the Quick Filters (Brand, Region, Short Name, etc.) or the Advanced Filter icon to narrow down your view.
  4. KPI card panel shows six key metrices:
    1. Ordered Revenue (currency auto-adjusts by region): Total revenue generated from customer orders placed during a specific hour.
    2. Ordered Units: The total number of units ordered by customers within each hour.
    3. ASP (Average Selling Price): The average price at which products were sold (ASP = Ordered Revenue / Ordered Units)
    4. Sellable On Hand Units (as of latest hour): The number of sellable units available in inventory at the end of the latest hour. Indicates stock readiness for sales.
    5. Glance Views: The total number of times customers viewed a product detail page during a specific hour. Reflects product visibility and shopper interest.
    6. Conversion Rate (%): The percentage of Glance Views that resulted in actual orders (Conversion Rate = (Ordered Units / Glance Views) * 100)

NotesYou can select only one metric at a time for the chart

  1. Hourly Trend Chart is an interactive chart that compares the selected metric across 3 time frames:
    1. Bar Chart: Current Day (hour-by-hour)
    2. Line Chart 1: Yesterday (same hours)
    3. Line Chart 2: Same Day Last Week (same weekday)

      6. Hover on any bar or point to see the exact values for each hour.

      7. Click the hamburger button to export the chart.

      8. Scroll down to view the Daily View Data Table.

      9. Click on the Column dropdown to select the metrics of your choice.

      10. Use this table to:
      1.  Spot underperforming hours
      2. Identify peak activity windows
      3. Track operational gaps

      11. Click the edit icon next to any product row to update product details or view audit history.

Traditional end-of-day reporting misses intraday shifts in performance. Hourly Sales Insights empowers teams to respond faster by surfacing early trends like an out-of-stock spike, successful campaign lift, or product issue.
